ABOUT ME

My name is Ally Lockhart, and I am a student photographer based in Naarm (Melbourne) and Ballarat. I work across concerts and events, portraiture, fashion, street and nature photography, and I focus on best capturing the true nature and emotions of my subject, whether that’s a true smile in a portrait or the lively atmosphere of a concert.People around me have always known me as a photographer - I started by taking random photos on my mum’s point and shoots at 4 years old, and continued taking flower photos on my 2012 iPad. However, I properly started photography as a hobby in 2022. Nowadays, I am studying for a Bachelor of Photography at COLLARTS, and I have previously recieved a Certificate II in Creative Industries and a Certificate III in Screen and Media. Outside of photography, I dabble in music production, and have interest in fashion and creative direction.Both images were taken by Laura with my assistance.
